One Step Closer

We heard back about the house last Friday (FINALLY!) and I am pleased to tell you all, there are no repairs needed! Everything is in good working order. We had a little paperwork to turn in and now we are just waiting to hear back. Hopefully our next step will be closing!


The house was built in 1957 and the last time it was updated was in the 70's...so needless to say, we have some painting/adding/remodeling to do over the years, but this house really has everything we want in its bones. I am so excited! I think my first project will be the nursery. I never got the chance to nest before Daisy was born even though I wanted to desperately. Living in a one bedroom apartment the only nursery decorating I got to do was her little corner of our room. I have been daydreaming about her room ever since we went to look at this house for the first time. It is perfect and I can't wait to add my touch to it. Ahhh.

Ok. I'll keep you all posted when we hear something new. I can't wait to start this next chapter of our lives. I can't wait to finally take care of my own home. I can't wait to make memories in this house with my family.
